eve ray designs' 'Schiaparelli and the Sea' collection. Inspired by the work of surrealist Italian designer, Elsa Schiaparelli and designer Maeve Barry's love of the ocean. A recent trip to the Elsa Schiaparelli exhibition in Paris showcased her surrealist accessories - including body parts, everyday objects, using mix metal of gold and silver - from the start of her career to the current designs by Daniel Roseberry. Combining this witty and dramatic use of objects as jewellery, and a love of the sea - in particular growing up next to Banna Strand in County Kerry - and taking the mix of metal tones that shape the sand, the 'Schiaparelli and the Sea' was created.
